Overall vision
British Land has taken a decision to make a long-term commitment to Ealing Town Centre by significantly investing in the area.
Overall, our aim is to ensure that Ealing remains an attractive place to live, work and visit for many years to come and to add to and complement Ealing Broadway’s existing shops and businesses.
Our core aspirations are to:

Increase local economic investment and spending by bringing more businesses to the area
Meet our sustainability targets by ensuring that every decision taken is environmentally and socially intelligent.

Improve local connections through the town centre and create new public spaces for people to enjoy

Improve Ealing Broadway's commercial and retail offer
Our commitment to Ealing Broadway is based on a number of reasons:
1.
With six different stations nearby and the impending arrival of the Elizabeth Line, the transport connections in Ealing are unrivalled and we believe that this will ensure Ealing remains a vibrant centre for years to come.
2.
The shift towards home working and focus on shopping locally as a result of the pandemic, has increased the popularity of residential areas such as Ealing, which in turn has become more attractive to businesses of all sectors and sizes.
3.
Market trends are increasingly showing a growing demand for flexible, high quality office space and we are excited to have the opportunity to position Ealing Town Centre to attract the best businesses, jobs and investment.

The Ealing Project
The Ealing Project is a new multi-functional community space for the Borough of Ealing and beyond, delivered by the Really Local Group, in partnership with British land. Situated on the ground floor of the Ealing Broadway centre (previously home to the Karma club), the venue features a three-screen cinema – the first in Ealing for 14 years – a café, a bar, community room, a stage for live music performance and space to exhibit art by local artists. Find out more, here.
54 The Broadway
We are pleased to announce that we have completed the £6.5m refurbishment of 54 The Broadway in Central Ealing and reached a deal with the Department for Work and Pensions to secure the tenancy of the space. The building, previously known as Crystal House, is located on the south side of The Broadway and sits above the main shopping centre.
